RESEARCH on Stigmas and Stereotypes attatched to certain dog breeds (November 27, 2007)

As well as selling a wide variety of dog accessories, cat accessories, small animal accessories and reptile accessories in our online pet shop, Charismatis Pets are also conducting research investigating the way in which individuals categorize and stereotype dog owners dependent on the breed of dog that they own. Personality traits of owners of certain dog breeds (Poodles, Staffordshire Bull Terriers and Retrievers) were tested and compared with expected personality traits that non dog owners perceive certain breeds of dog-owners to have. Personality scores of dog owners were also tested between the breeds to see if the owners do differ in personality traits.
