Charis Hunter BSc (Hons) PG Dip CABC ADTB is the head trainer and behaviourist at Charismatic Pets. She is a provisional member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC), which means having gained the relevent academic qualifications she is gaining the practical experience necessary for full membership. Charis is fully insured and well educated in the field of animal behaviour, applying her knowledge on a daily basis in helping to restore harmony between us and our pets. She is also a Lecturer in Animal Care at Lackham Agricultural College, passing on knowledge of animal care, behaviour and training.
 
Leanne Matthews is the other trainer at Charismatic Pets and has been assisting Charis for a year now. She has trained in the fields of obedience, tricks, agility, flyball and ringcraft and is now delivering her own classes and 1:1 sessions. She is very passionate about dogs and their welfare having rescued a dog from Battersea Dogs Home some years ago she is keen to assist owners and their dogs in communicating effectively and clearly ensuring a healthy balance is met.
 
Please note we DO NOT use any punishment, coercive or pack theory based techniques and DO NOT utilise any dominance or status theories or 'whispering' in our work.

We will teach you and your dog the essentials to scenting work, how to lay and run a track and lots of fun ways to practice at home with your dog!
